Leading the club from day one, Darren focuses on technique, discipline, and building a supportive environment for all ages. He founded Law Boxing Club to give the village a safe, welcoming place to train, and still coaches sessions across every age group each week.

Our Approach

Coaching Philosophy

Technique First

Every member starts with the fundamentals — footwork, guard, and control — before anything else. It's what keeps training safe and effective as members progress.

Every Pace Respected

Whether you're training for fitness, confidence, or competition, our coaches meet you where you are rather than pushing a one-size-fits-all approach.

Discipline With Warmth

We hold high standards in the gym, but the atmosphere stays supportive — mistakes are part of learning, and every coach is there to help, not just correct.

Safeguarding First

As a club welcoming children, young people, and adults alike, safeguarding sits at the centre of how we run every session. Our coaches follow best-practice guidance for working with young and vulnerable members, and sessions are structured to keep training safe for everyone in the room.

If you have any questions about our safeguarding approach, or want to know more about a specific coach's background, get in touch and we'll be happy to help.
