A safe place for the village of Law, built on community spirit and the discipline of boxing.
Founded by Darren, Law Boxing Club was established to provide the village with a dedicated, safe place for fitness and personal development. Recognising a need for youth engagement and community health, Darren set out to build more than just a gym.
Today, we are a proud Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO). We exist to serve the community, offering a supportive environment where people of all backgrounds can build confidence.
Join UsDarren set up training sessions in Law with one goal: give local people, young and old, a safe place to build fitness, discipline, and confidence.
The club found its base at Armstrong's Gym, giving members a proper training space and, eventually, an on-site gym for use outside of class hours.
As the club grew, we became a registered Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation — SCIO SC053773 — putting community benefit at the heart of everything we do.
Six days of classes a week, three age groups, and a growing community of members who keep coming back for the training and the people.
Located in the heart of Law at Armstrong's Gym, our club is deeply tied to the local area. We provide structured activities that keep kids off the streets, offer ladies-only sessions to ensure comfortable training environments, and run an open gym for our members.
This isn't a gym that happens to be in Law — it's a club built for Law. Every class, every fundraiser, and every member milestone feeds back into the same village that gave the club its start.
Turning up, putting in the work, and following through — on the pads and off them.
For coaches, training partners, and the sport itself — respect is non-negotiable in our gym.
Boxing teaches you to get back up. That lesson carries into everything else members face.
A club that exists for the village of Law, and stays accountable to the people who train here.
Whatever your age or experience, there's a place for you at Law Boxing Club.
